KP-25 Properties

KP-25 is a fluorescent magnetic developer. This product is ready to use and intended for use in magnetic benches or with mobile metalloscopes. It is particularly suitable for machined parts.

Instructions for Use:

• Spray KP25 on the part under inspection while magnetising.
• Keep magnetisation on for 2 to 3 seconds after spraying stop. Inspect part under UV-A (minimum irradiance : 1000 μW/cm2, recommended >1500 μW/cm2),in dim visible light conditions (< 20 lux), after eye adaptation, according standard EN ISO 3059

Stability

Highly resistant to mechanical and chemical wear. When KP25 does no longer meet specifications, it is recommended to throw it away and replenish with off-the-shelf product, so as to have a more constant level of quality and no fluorescent fluid. Nevertheless, it is allowed to adjust particle settlement rate by adding LY 2500 powder.
