Lead Marker Tapes are used to locate possible defect areas on a weld.

 It is important when x-raying a weld to clearly locate any possible defect areas on the weld.
A lead marker tape placed alongside the weld seam will give an accurate indication of the suspect area, the numbered lead markers spaced at specific intervals on the marker tape will give a clear image on the processed radiograph.

The Lead numbers are all sewn into the tape for durability

The material is water resistant

The standard range of sizes are from 0.5m to 15m in length with either 2cm, 5cm or 10cm spacings.
