Isotope Handling Tongs are available in 1m, 1.5m and 2m lengths.

These are used as a device to allow a distance to be kept between the operator and the radioactive source to minimise the dose received. The tongs have a jaw size of 63mm which is adequate for any emergency source retrieval or handling of detached gamma sources
