The MC460 can be used as both a magnetising and demagnetising coil and is capable of finding transverse orientated defects. With sturdy PVC construction and the coils fully sealed this unit is suitable for use in even the harshest engineering environments.
The MC460 coil is fitted with a self-resetting thermal cut-out to prevent burnouts from misuse and the unit is supplied with an energising foot peddle for ease of use both as standard.

The MC460 coil has handles contained within in the corner of the unit and weighs 34Kg so can be easily be relocated to different work sites when required.
Maximum ‘On’ time of 30 seconds with a duty cycle of 25%.
The coil is sealed with the MC460 having a sturdy and robust PVC construction. Supplied with an energising foot peddle for ease of use as standard.
