B104B Properties

B104B is white contrast background paint with high covering power for MPI. It is a white enamel, quick drying, great cowering power paint, serving as a contrasting agent for any black magnetic developer, such as B103C.

Directions for use

• If necessary remove scale, paint residue, oxide, etc.
• Degrease using degreaser N120.
• Strongly shake the spray can, then, from a distance of 20 to 30 cm, firmly push nozzle while keeping spray can upside. Spray a thin, uniform coat of B104B (if possible only one layer).
• A 20 to 30 μm layer is enough. A too thick coat leads to coat defects (like orange peel effect) and decreases the inspection sensitivity.
• The product is not soluble in water-based or hydrocarbon-based magnetic inks.
• After inspection, special solvent B105 or SAFE 105 shall be used to remove B104B.
